Paw Prints in Dawson County is a non profit organization that helps with reduced rate spaying and neutering for people who want their animal altered but can not afford the cost.
We are not a rescue and do not have the ability to help with medical assistance.
We are very compassionate and loving  people who volunteer their time and money to help others in our community. Recently we wrote an article about  a rescue at Johnson Lake involving 3 adult female cats and 15 kittens,  who had ring worm, the main focus was a dog who now has a forever home.  The cats and kittens are doing very well, considering their beginnings, and several are ready to be adopted. They all have gained weight and the medical issues attended to by the kind people at Fairview Veternairy Clinic in Lexington.
Because we are not finically able to help with medical emergencies, we are appealing to you, our community, to help us with some of the medical expenses incurred. Please send any donations to Paw Prints in Dawson County P.O. Box 21  Cozad, NE 69130.
If you are interested in adopting any of the cats, or kittens please call Rosalie Mayfield at 308-529-7140, if there is no answer, please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as possible.
Come see us at The Dawson County Fair to purchase your raffle tickets to win the dog house valued at $400.00, donated by Big Dog Construction Kearney, NE.
Thank-You in advance for your kindness and community.
